<marquee behavior="scroll" direction="left">IGNOU Regional Centre at Aizawl was activated in December, 2000. The jurisdiction of the Regional Centre extends to whole of Mizoram State. The Regional Centre extends to whole of Mizoram State. The IGNOU RC Aizawl delivers its services through 25 Learner Support Centre covering all the 10 districts in the State of Mizoram. The Regional Centre, Aizawl offers 191 and 45 programmes on ODL and Online Mode respectively. The Regional Centre has been awarded Best Services Award nu the University in the year 2006, 2007, 2009 and 2019. Moreover, the Aizawl Regional Centre also bagged Government Online Excellence Award (20021-2022) and Government Websites Awards (2022-2023) from the Department of Information and Communication Technology, Government of Mizoram. On 3rd August, 2023, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, Hon’ble Minister of Education, Government of India inaugurated the newly constructed building of the Regional Centre through virtual mode in the presence of Prof. Nageshwar Rao, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor and other high dignitaries of the University. The Regional Centre the shifted to the new building in the month of August, 2023 and started functioning from owned building located at Aizawl, the state capital of Mizoram.</marquee>
